Welcome to the Skills Highway Champion Awards 2019!

The Skills Highway 2019 Champion Awards event provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate fantastic acheivements and lots of hard work across the workplace literacy and numeracy space.

The room was fill with joy and well-deserved pride as we celebrated the successes of learners, learner groups, tutors, mentors and employers. MC Pale Sauni made everyone feel welcome and relaxed, and delighted us with his singing. Special guests Gillian Dudgeon, from the TEC, and Josh Williams, from the Industry Training Federation, presented certificates and shook many hands!

The Skills Highway Supreme Champion was Filisi Neli from Dempsey Wood. Well done, Filisi! You can learn more about Filisi here. And it was great to have last year's Supreme Champion, Melissa Ryder from Neat Meat Global Ltd, back this year to help present Filisi's award.
