2018 Skills Highway Award
The Skills Highway team is thrilled to congratulate Griffin’s for winning the Skills Highway Award at the Diversity Awards in Auckland on 29 August.
In a programme delivered by Upskills Ltd Griffin’s employees from Papakura and Wiri plants learnt about how to communicate more effectively at work, understand the metrics they deal with daily at work, and developed their computing skills. Read more about Griffin’s and watch the video.
Dunedin-based Cargill Enterprises were highly recommended for their programme run by The Good Training Company. At the social enterprise employees with intellectual and physical disabilities have improved their literacy and numeracy skills which in turn has improved their health and safety behvaiours and given them more confidence to speak up at work.
